About Me

My name is Kamryn Johnson and I study English and Education at Virginia State University where I demonstrate dedication and compassion in my academic journey. My dedication to teaching drives me to create inclusive learning spaces while I work towards earning my master's degree in Psychology.

My professional background spans retail positions and early childhood education where I developed strong communication skills alongside leadership abilities and time management expertise. Connecting with people while adapting to new situations and critically thinking in changing environments brings me great pride. My current position at a Child Development Center involves helping young children grow intellectually while building a positive learning environment in the classroom. My goal is to create an enduring effect on others through my work in writing, teaching, and mentoring.


When I have time away from school and work activities, I like reading books while journaling and finding fresh personal and professional growth opportunities.

This educational resource contains hands-on activities and customized teaching techniques alongside specialized evaluations to support students from various learning backgrounds.

This thematic analysis delves into the magical realism elements within Octavia Butler's novel Kindred.
This analysis investigates the blending of historical fiction and magical realism by Butler to address identity themes alongside trauma and time concepts. This essay reflects my analytical depth and demonstrates my proficiency in close reading as well as my ability to interpret complex, literary. techniques.

Annotated Bibliography – "Are General Education Courses Necessary?"
The research project examines various scholarly sources in order to assess the importance of general education within higher education institutions. This project showcases my skills in merging research findings with evaluation of source trustworthiness to create informed academic curriculum viewpoints.
